Tulsi Vivaah

Tulsi Vivaah is an important Hindu festival celebrated on the eleventh or twelfth day of the bright fortnight of Kartik month. The ceremony commemorates the divine union of Goddess Tulsi, considered an incarnation of Vrinda, with Lord Vishnu in the form of Shaligram. Devotees perform elaborate rituals, decorate the Tulsi plant, sing devotional songs, and recite the Tulsi Vivaah Katha to seek divine blessings. The festival is believed to bring happiness, prosperity, marital harmony, and spiritual merit. Tulsi Vivaah also marks the end of Chaturmas and the beginning of the auspicious marriage season in Hindu tradition. Observing this sacred ceremony with devotion strengthens faith and invites the blessings of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Tulsi.
