51 Navratri Puja Samagri Items Included
Our premium Navratri puja kit contains 51 items for Kalash Sthapana, Navdurga Puja, Aarti, Bhog and Hawan. Each samagri comes in a fixed quantity, while fresh flowers, leaves, fruits and Prasad are kept separate from the 51-item count.
9-Day Navratri Puja Samagri for Home Worship
The kit includes samagri for the main rituals performed during 9-day Navratri Puja at home. It covers Kalash Sthapana, Navdurga Puja, Aarti, Bhog and Hawan. Some items serve one ritual, while others return to use throughout Navratri.
- Opening Puja: Kalash Sthapana and Jau sowing
- Daily Puja: Navdurga Puja, Aarti and Bhog
- Ashtami or Navami: Kanya Pujan according to household tradition
- Navami: Hawan where followed
The 9-day description refers to ritual coverage, not fixed daily consumption. Ghee, oil, Kapoor and wicks can run out sooner when used more often. Use the listed quantities to plan any extra daily-use materials needed in your home.
From Kalash Sthapana to Navami Hawan
Navratri begins with Kalash Sthapana, followed by daily Navdurga Puja and later Ashtami and Navami rituals.
Day 1: Kalash Sthapana
Ghatasthapana begins with Kalash Sthapana and sowing Jau or the grains used in your tradition. The Kalash and sowing materials belong to this opening stage.
During Navratri: Navdurga Puja
The following days include Navdurga Puja, Diya, Aarti and daily Bhog. Aarti and offering materials may return to use each day based on the Puja followed at home.
Ashtami or Navami: Kanya Pujan
Kanya Pujan may be observed on Ashtami or Navami, depending on household tradition.
Navami: Hawan
The kit also includes samagri for households performing Hawan on Navami.
51 Puja Items With Exact Pack Quantities
The 51-item count means 51 separately listed puja items in the kit. Each item has a listed quantity, so you know what comes in the box before ordering.
Mixed sets count once, not by every ingredient inside them. Panchmeva, Sapta Dhanya and Shringar Samagri each count as one item.
- 51 Named Puja Items
- Exact Quantity for Every Item
- Mixed Sets Count Once
This counting method keeps the product list easy to compare with your own Navratri samagri list. Check the quantity beside each item before purchase, especially for materials you expect to use more than once.
Daily Navdurga Puja and Aarti Samagri
Not all 51 products are used on the same day. Aarti, Diya, Dhoop, Agarbatti and Bhog items may return to use throughout the nine days. Chunri, Shringar and Kalash Sthapana samagri belong to more specific stages.
| Mainly Stage-Specific | Used Repeatedly |
|---|---|
| Kalash Sthapana | Aarti |
| Jau sowing | Diya |
| Chunri and Shringar | Dhoop and Agarbatti |
| Hawan samagri | Bhog and offerings |
Daily consumption changes with how often you perform Aarti, light Diyas and make offerings. Dhoop and Agarbatti will run out sooner when used more than once a day.
Durga Mantra
ॐ दुं दुर्गायै नमः।
Follow the mantra and Puja method used in your home or advised by your Pandit Ji.
Akhand Jyoti, Ghee and Til Oil Quantities
180 ml Puja Ghee
150 ml Til Oil
9 Akhand Jyoti Battis
A continuous nine-day Akhand Jyoti may require more Ghee or oil than the quantities included in the kit. Fuel use depends on several practical factors:
- Diya capacity
- Wick thickness
- Number of wicks
- Burn duration
Nine Akhand Jyoti Battis are included. The number used depends on your Diya and wick arrangement.
A larger Diya or multiple wicks increase fuel use. For a continuous Akhand Jyoti, keep extra Ghee or Til Oil based on your Diya size and wick arrangement.
Navami Hawan Samagri and Pack Quantities
P250 g Hawan Samagri
1 kg Hawan Samidha
Guggul, Loban, Til and other Hawan ingredients are also included. These are the quantities supplied in the kit, not a fixed requirement for every Hawan.
The amount needed depends on Hawan duration and the number of Ahutis. A short home Hawan uses less material than a longer Pandit-led Hawan. Longer recitation and more Ahutis increase the amount of Hawan Samagri and Samidha required.
Planning a larger Hawan?
Compare the listed quantities with your Ahuti count or the samagri list from your Pandit Ji before adding extra material.
Fresh Puja Items to Arrange Separately
Fresh and perishable offerings are not included in the 51-item kit. Arrange them close to the Puja date so flowers, leaves and food offerings stay fresh.
- Fresh flowers or garland — Puja offering
- Mango or Ashoka leaves — Kalash Sthapana
- Durva — if used in your Puja
- Fresh fruits — Bhog and offering
- Prasad or sweets — prepared fresh
- Milk and curd — if used in your Puja
These materials remain outside the packed item count because they are purchased or prepared fresh for the relevant ritual.
Kanya Pujan Samagri for Ashtami or Navami
Kanya Pujan may be performed on Ashtami or Navami, depending on household tradition. It is also called Kanjak Puja in many homes. Kala Chana is included for preparation, while Kanya Bhoj is prepared fresh.
| Included in the Kit | Prepare Fresh |
|---|---|
| Kala Chana | Halwa |
| Puri | |
| Extra Chana if needed | |
| Prasad | |
| Gifts and Dakshina |
Prepare the food according to the number of Kanyas you plan to serve. Halwa, Puri and extra Chana quantities therefore depend on the size of the Kanya Bhoj. Gifts and Dakshina can follow the custom observed in your home.
