What You Need Beyond the Durga Puja Kit

Fresh Flowers, Fruits and Bhog

Buy fresh flowers, fruits and Bhog close to the Puja date. For Kalash Sthapana, source five mango or Ashoka leaves and Durva grass. Prepare Prasad or Bhog on the Puja day for offering.

Puja Vessels, Diya and Havan Tools

Kalash Sthapana needs a wide clay pot and Kalash lid. A Puja Thali and diya are also useful for worship.

For Havan, arrange a Havan Kund, ghee vessel and offering spoon. A water vessel with spoon is also used during the Havan process.

Kanya Pujan Food, Dakshina and Gifts
